The Department of Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada is seeking comments on the following consultation: RSS-182, issue 6, “Maritime Radio Equipment Operating in the Band 156-162.5 MHz”. This Radio Standards Specification (RSS) sets out the requirements for certification of radio equipment used for maritime service in the band 156-162.5 MHz, including Automatic Identification System – Search and Rescue Transponders (AIS-SART) operating on AIS-1 and AIS-2.
Comments are due no later than February 3rd, 2021.
