The Department is seeking comments from the Broadcasting Committee members of the RABC on the proposed changes to the BPR-1 Broadcasting Procedures and Rules Part I: General Rules. The proposed changes are operational updates to explain the process for the issuance of a broadcasting certificate for a new term, the alignment of broadcast certificate expiry date and clarifications of the requirements for demonstration of compliance with SC6. The majority of the changes are in section 1, section 8 and Annex C.
