Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada is seeking comments on the following broadcasting standard: BPR-10 issue 3 (draft) – Application Procedures and Rules for Digital Television (DTV) Broadcasting Undertakings.

BPR-10 issue 3 (draft) outlines the application procedures for broadcasting undertakings seeking to acquire a broadcasting certificate to operate a digital television station. The document also specifies technical and operational requirements.

The following are the main changes:

Integration of key parts from BPR-11 (April 2017), which will be rescinded.
Transition to online applications by default and email applications only in special circumstances.
Other updates, including editorial changes and clarifications, as appropriate.
